Our History

Richard Ray & Associates Pty Ltd, was established in Kadina, South Australia in 1987 by Richard Ray, who has over 30 years experience in the General Insurance Industry.

Since 1983 the business has grown steadily, starting with 1 employee to now employing 10 people.  The company has serviced the rural industry as its main clientele and through growth and acquisition the company now has offices in Kadina, Maitland, Millicent, Adelaide and a serviced office in Bordertown.

Our Associations

NIBA

We are committed to professional excellence by association.  Richard Ray & Associates are members of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) a professional body that provides a unified environment that serves as a strong voice and support in a number of areas including professional development, lobbying government and organisation.  NIBA member firms employ Qualified Practicing Insurance Brokers (QPIBs) who undertake continuing professional education. This ensures they are kept up to date with industry trends and changes so they can provide you, the insurance buyer, with quality advice.

STEADFAST GROUP

Steadfast is an industry cluster group, of which we are proud to be a member.  It enables us to exchange ideas and information with other brokers all over Australia that helps us to analyse and place cover on a wide variety of business requirements.  By associating with other brokers in similar situations it ensures we maintain our professional service to our clients, introduces us to new ideas and confirms that sometimes old ideas work.
